GTA online receives constant updates to attract old and new players to the servers. One of these updates added a UFO that roams the map, appearing in a new location every day. If you fly too close to investigate, it mysteriously shuts down your engines, causing your vehicle to fall from the sky. It’s not a problem if you just got airborne to have a look, but if the UFO is near a mission, it can really hamper your plans.
GTA Online players have shared their misfortune with Reddit, with scores as high as $4 million lost due to UFO interference.
Reddit user JonathanXVY was flying his Titan to a marked location when UFO interference shut down their engines and grounded them. Unable to move because their landing gear is not extended, they would probably have to leave the mission and risk losing the product they are trying to move. They claim the failure cost them $4 million.
People in the comments wrote that they had similar problems before. We gave some tips“If you see ‘Go to LSIA’ on any Special Cargo Sell Mission, just find a new session, don’t even try, don’t waste time, don’t risk a glitch or a stupid alien ship this week, etc. Just don’t try.
Another advice has been“I would have dropped all the other places first and waited [for] time to get above 4am (if necessary) and then make the last drop. You had 26 minutes left to complete the mission, that’s more than 12 hours of GTA, the UFO would have disappeared long before.”
jonathan replied, “I would have done it if I had known those goddamn aliens stopped the planes.” The more you know.
